May is almost at a close, which also means Spring is nearing its end as well.

It is the season in which many animals grow. Our students are growing too, and their minds are expanding.

We worked on a few math problems where we counted a number of different animals in two groups and counted them together to find the sum of the equation.

We talked the meaning of the equal sign and why we use the sign to show the total of our sum.

Each student has a chance to come up to the board, tell us which animal it was, and count the two groups to come up with the total number of the animals in each problem.
