This afternoon at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we continued with our science study for the month. Last week we began learning about wind, how it is formed and the effect is has on the world. This week we began to discuss how people use that energy.

During the afternoon the children had the opportunity to watch a couple of videos on wind power and even perform an experiment.

The experiment was loosely based on how wind power functions.

The power of the wind in the baloon was used to turn the straw which simulated generating power.

The chidren really enjoyed seeing the effect of how the experiment moved. They laughed a lot and even discussed how other things move in the world like ships and windmills.

Overall the lesson was very successful and the students learned a lot.
