This Tuesday at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda our K2 students had science class! This month during science we are learning all about fruits and vegetables. The students have had the chance to study what makes something a fruit or vegetable. Is it the flavor? The color? All great questions to ask.

During Tuesday’s class we discussed the different words that we can use to descrube the flavor of fruit and vegetables. Students practiced using the words sweet, sour and bitter.

We talked about our favorite fruits, what the taste like and then we had a craft to do.

Using yellow paint and markers the children made a cute little corn picture. We also made the leaves by cutting some green paper and curling it around a pencil.

We had fun and learned at the same time. It was a fun lesson that had everyone smiling!
