Today at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we had a look at another interesting job and a valuable resource for learners of all ages, libraries and librarians.
Books are such an important at part of a child’s education. They give students access to knowledge and the ability to learn in their own. The libraries in Shinagawa and Gotanda both have hundreds of thousands of books to read and learn from. Today we learned about the people who organize it all Librarians.
The students were able to create their own library cards and then play with their peers or teachers to practice loaning out books to each other.
It was a great experience that may have let the children discover a new love of books.
