At Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda and all other PAP schools we do show and tell four days a week. There are many great reasons to do show and tell and the students really look forward to it.
Show and tell gives the students something to look forward to. They love to be the person presenting their show and tell to their friends. The kids often have their item picked out days or weeks in advance.
Show and tell encourages public speaking ability. It’s a great way to create discussion with students and they need to think quickly to answer questions from other students.
The other students all ask questions to the presenter. This allows then to use their question language and practice creative or interesting questions.
Overall show and tell us an important part of our curriculum. It’s a part of our school that is integral to our students development.
