One afternoon at Prime Academic Preschool, something was waiting for our students in the classroom.

“What’s that?” one girl said as she creeped closer.

Caterpillars!

The students were all very intrigued and wanted to look at them up close… really close!

The students even wanted to pet them, like we did with our birds last month!

Some caterpillars looked like poop and we wondered whether they were caterpillar poop.

To our great surprise, we discovered that they just look like poop and are not really poop. They are actually caterpillars cleverly disguised as bird droppings!

How fascinating!
