Welcome to the first day of Summer! The days are longer, the nights are shorter, and our students are feeling a bit hotter from the sun outside. Luckily, we had a rainy day today, which gave us more reason to stay indoors.

Our younger children made birthday hats and were very proud to show them off when they were finished. A more important reason to stay inside was to give our kids with birthdays in June a fun birthday party!

We had a jelly treat made inside the school for all the students to enjoy. Many of them really enjoyed it, which meant a lot since it was made at the school. It was fun for them to watch it jiggle on their spoons.

Afterwards, we made bubbles with straws that they could touch and feel how interesting it was to see through.

The older ones learned a new game towards the end that kept them active and trying new things to accomplish their goals and working together. Keep it up!
