Recycled Kaleidoscopes

Welcome back from your Obon holiday everyone. We hope you all had an amazing time and relaxed during your vacations. Today at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we did a great art activity by creating Kaleidoscopes using recycled materials.

The students spent some time decorating a piece of paper. The children were instructed to try and create a similar paper design across four sections so that it would look better when the project was finished.

The children then carefully folded their papers and taped them so that they would fit perfectly over a carton of milk.

The children could slide their paper up and down the milk carton to create different patterns and shapes. Our students really enjoyed the craft, there was some difficulty with the folding and especially creating the mirror surface with tin foil. However, with the help of their teachers, all our students created a craft they could be proud of.

Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda,

Alex
