At PAP, we believe in bringing language learning to life through fun, engaging activities that captivate our students’ imaginations. Today, we talked about the enchanting world of Moomin, a beloved series created by Finnish author and illustrator Tove Jansson.
In the morning, each student made their very own Moomin family home! We used construction paper and glue to design and decorate small popcorn boxes that transformed into cozy Moomin houses! The children were thrilled to see their creations take shape and couldn’t wait to use them later in the day!
In the afternoon, we settled down to watch two delightful episodes of the Moomin series. The children were all smiles as they enjoyed the show, sitting comfortably with their popcorn boxes filled with delicious popcorn. The whimsical world of Moomin captured their attention, and they were fascinated by the adventures of Moomintroll and his friends.
Afterward, each child was able to take their Moomin house popcorn box home, a wonderful keepsake of the day’s activities!
Our students are eagerly anticipating their holiday next week. Thank you for being a part of our Moomin-themed day. We look forward to seeing the wonderful ways our students continue to grow and learn!
