This week during our Monthly theme lesson on amounts, we learned that in America some things come in very big sizes. Today we saw that we can buy a gallon of juice at the supermarket. A gallon of juice is so big! 

We made an educated guess on how many cups of juice are in 1 gallon of juice. Some students guessed small numbers like 10 and 12. Other students guessed very large numbers like 99 and 50. 

We started to pour our juice in the cups and measure how many cups are in a gallon. The gallon of juice was very heavy to pour. Some students needed help to pour the heavy juice. 

We measured that there was 32 cups of juice in a gallon. Great job everyone! It was yummy to drink the mango juice after too.
