Every week at Prime Acadmic Preschool Gotanda we have a variety of different subjects on different nights of the week. On Monday evening the students have the chance to create something wonderful during their art classes. The projects they make are usually individual work but occasionally we all work together to create something fantastic. Today was a day that we collaborated together and make a huge group project.

Today project had 2 major steps. In their individual classes the children created feathers. We encouraged the students to make as many as they possibly could.

The children then added lines to the feathers to make them look more realistic and creative.

For the second half of the project we will add our feathers to a huge pair of wings in a separate classroom. next week we will use well over a hundred feathers to create the huge artwork.

It will be a lot of fun when the kids have the great experience of seeing how their own small piece of work can have effect on something bigger.
