This month in art at PAP Gotanda we are exploring the ancient art of weaving.

Students will be learning about where we can find weaves in the world. They will learn about how useful they are and where we see and use them every day.

Today we began work on our snake weave. Students were provided with multiple colorful pieces of paper and made long, thin snake decorations with them.

We also cut some tall grass for the snakes to get woven into.

Next week we will complete the project by weaving the snakes in and out of the grass to create a complex and pretty work of art.
