Last week’s science challenge had the students thinking like engineers! They were given a big, heavy box filled with books, and one important rule: they couldn’t use any wheels to move it.

With materials like cardboard rolls and a tarp, the children worked together to come up with different ways to move the heavy load.
They tested ideas like sliding the box on the tarp or using the rolls to create a smoother path.

Some students tried pushing or pulling, while others figured out how to lift or shift the weight more easily.
It took teamwork, creativity, and a lot of trial and error.

As they explored different solutions, they began to notice how hard it was to move something heavy without the help of wheels.
This hands-on experience helped them understand just how important wheels are in our daily lives.

After the experiment, we reflected on what worked, what didn’t, and how wheels make movement easier by reducing friction.
Everyone had something to contribute, and it was exciting to see so many ideas in action.

By taking the wheels away, we learned to appreciate how simple inventions can make a big difference!
