We had a very exciting Science class! We became little scientists and learned all about temperature.

​To start, we learned how to use a digital thermometer. We practiced holding it carefully to get the right numbers.

​We measured the temperature of many different things. We checked hot tea, tap water, and even ice! It was fun to see the numbers go up and down on the screen.

​

​We also measured solid objects around the room, like books and tables. We did a great job writing down the results on our worksheets.

​

​Next, we did a fun experiment with our own bodies! First, we measured our body temperature while we were resting.

​

​Then, we did some exercise! We moved our bodies to get warm, and then we measured our temperature again to see if it changed.

​

​We worked very hard to fill out our charts and compare the numbers. It was a wonderful way to learn about hot and cold.
