This week in PAP, we had a very fun science experiment! We learned all about how sound creates waves that can actually make things move.
First, we used colorful markers to draw beautiful designs on our paper cups. We focused so nicely on our artwork!
We worked very hard on our decorations and were excited to show off our finished cups with big smiles.
Next, it was time to make our wiggly snakes! We carefully bent soft pipe cleaners into spiral shapes and added funny googly eyes to them.
After our snakes were ready, we added a straw to our cups and got ready for the best part of the experiment.
We gently placed our pipe cleaner snakes on top of the cup. Then, we made sounds into the straw using our voices!
The sound waves from our voices made the cups vibrate, causing the little snakes to spin and dance on top! What a fun way to learn about science. Great job, everyone! 🐍✨
