Every month at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we work through a new art subject that will help broaden our student’s understanding of the world. This month the children will be working on tracing and symmetry.

The students began by tracing three sets of their hands and folding paper in half. Tracing is always a little challenging for the students but it is an excellent activity for improving hand-eye coordination.

The children worked well through the activity. They created 3 copies of their hands using different colors and the body of the butterfly.

After gluing it all together we decorated the body and drew a face. The students all enjoyed their work and we will be proud to show them off during our first art show of the year!
