At PAP Gotanda we have been working hard to make sure that at our students have many cultural experiences from different countries around the world. We have learned about different holidays from many different cultures and celebrations from many different countries.

This time of year is the time that many western cultures celebrate Christmas. Many different people around the world believe this to be a time for giving and sharing. Part of this celebration involves decorating our homes and work places!

It is not unusual to see lights, baubles, tinsel and mistletoe hung from the walls, ceilings and especially on trees.

At the front of our school in the lobby today our p1 and p2 classes spent time decorating our Christmas tree. They hung tinsel and baubles then place a present underneath. It was a great experience for the kids and they all enjoyed the activity.
