New Year Shishimai Visit

One of the many great traditions for a new year at English Pocket is a visit from the Shishimai.

This year we were very lucky to have the Shishimai visit us in the morning when we were all together learning about fire safety.

Some brave students even volunteered to let the Shishimai eat all their bad luck for the year.

Of course, every year there are some students who get scared by the Shishimai and cry but most of the students were very brave. Even some of the students who cried volunteered to get their bad luck eaten by the Shishimai!

Well done to all the students today. We hope the Shishimai brings everyone good luck for the rest of the year.

Happy New Year everyone.
