This month at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we have been learning about animal homes as part of our monthly theme.

We have learned about several different kinds of animals during the month and students have been able to identify the different kinds of homes they have and where they live.

Today in Gotanda school we took the time to learn about a special kind of animal- the Groundhog.

As part of our study today we watched videos, discussed with the class where we think they may have lived and even made puppet groundhogs to play with.

The students finished the class by presenting everything they could remember about the animal and displaying their puppet for all of the class to see. They were all very engaged with today’s topic and had a lot of fun making their puppets.
