Today in Elm class we practiced our fine motor skills.

We used the fine movement of our finger muscles to open and close the zipper on different clothing items.

Everyone raised their hand to try!

Many students were great at closing the zipper quickly.

A lot of the students could do it. We encourage the students to be independent and zip their own jackets before park time and before going home.

We will work on further developing our fine motor skills this month by practicing to tie bows too.
