The beginning of the school year is a fantastic time at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda. New students are joining our school and other students are moving up a level. A new year comes with new opportunities for learning and new chances to make friends. It also comes with new responsibilities and jobs too.

Today at school we had the great chance to move to our new classrooms and meet the new classmates that have joined our classes. It was a great day for getting adjusted to our roles in the school.

In the afternoon K2 and K3 worked on a brand new art subject. We began the lesson by placing a small piece of paper onto an A4 piece of paper.

We then drew our faces with half on the small piece and half on the large piece.

Finally we wrote our names down one side of the piece or art.

This created a great effect where we are only showing half of our own self portrait.

The art turned out great and we can’t wait to add color to them and paint them this Wednesday.
