In Elm class we have been learning about the letter A this week.

We learned the sound for letter A. We colored pictures of words like ambulance, apple, ax, and airplane. The students practiced their colors by finding their colored pencils by themselves in their pencil box.

Many of the students know their colors very well. We will keep practicing the name of our colors each week.

The students traced lowercase a with their fingers too. Everyone was great to follow the dotted lines.

The Elm class has had a great first week at school. Great job everyone!
