Today at PAP, we learned how we should take care of the Earth. Earth Day takes place in April 22nd, and it is a day in which many people from all over the world take the time to bring awareness to the health to our planet and those that inhabit it.

We understand that it is our responsibility to take care of our planet as it is the only place we have right now that we can sustain life. So to do our part, we got dressed up to go outside and find any trash that wasn’t properly disposed of.

We found all kinds of trash around our neighborhood. Some found cigarettes, some found little pieces of plastic, and others even found sharp objects! Not only can they be dangerous to ourselves, but to the animals that we have to share our planet with. Good thing we helped to clean up!

In the afternoon, we learned more about Earth Day and the three Rs that are important to helping: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! We brought PET bottles from our home mea over the week and repurposed them into ornaments to hang around the school!

We took care in designing them and we helped the little ones cut them to not get hurt. The older students were able to cut the bottles themselves.

They loved stretching them out once they got their final product. They will look lovely once they are well decorated.
