In Elm and Chestnut class we are learning about growing in science class.

The students helped plant some sunflower seeds in a large pot. We will care for our sunflower plant everyday by giving it lots of water and sunshine.

The students used a spade to make a hole in the soil to plant their seeds. Each student decorated their own smaller flower pot to plant cat grass.

Everyone really enjoyed being hands on and planting their seeds. We can’t wait to watch them grow.
