Over the last two months, the students have stayed indoors during play time to stay safe as the weather got hotter and more humid. Today, we struck some luck as we had a cloudy day with some sun. That gave us the chance to play in some water outside!

The students got dressed early and boarded the school bus with happiness in their eyes and fun on the mind. They thanked the bus driver as we got out and were ready for the excitement ahead.

Once we got to the park, the students were eager to make a big splash, getting their friends wet and getting wet themselves, laughing as they saw how soaked each of them were towards the end.

We dried ourselves off and got back on the bus to continued our day, which included a few games indoors. We tried running across the room one at a time to break chains.

We followed that game with an educational game of passing the ball and quickly naming things that begin with a letter of the alphabet. They had a great time!

We hope that everyone enjoyed their day today and we can’t wait for what fun will be had the next time!
