At PAP, our students learned about Thanksgiving, a special day in North America for showing gratitude. Teachers explained how families celebrate by gathering together, sharing meals, and reflecting on the things they’re thankful for.
In the morning, each student received colorful paper leaves. They wrote or drew something they felt thankful for, such as family, friends, or toys. The leaves were then placed on a large paper tree, creating a beautiful “Thankful Tree” in our classroom.
In the afternoon, the students enjoyed a small Thanksgiving meal after their snack. They ate chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and cheesecake. Many children tried new foods and shared what they liked most with their friends.
Through these activities, the children learned that Thanksgiving is about appreciating the people and things that make life special. Our Thankful Tree now stands proudly in the classroom as a reminder to be grateful every day.
