Today at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we do our best to celebrate holidays and traditions from all over the world. We like to help the students get experiences from many different counties to broaden their horizons and increase their interest in the rest of the world. Today we were lucky enough to celebrate a Japanese holiday – Tanabata.

The students began by writing their wishes on a piece of paper in marker. Students were encouraged to choose things that would carry later into life like test scores and happy moments with friends and family.

Of course our students also wished for a lot of other things too. Some students wished for Pokemon Cards, Nintendo switches and even a trip to Disney!

The students then hung their wishes on the bamboo and decorated it with some colorful paper.
