It is the start of a new month and we also have a new study theme for Science… “EYES”!

We learned today that while humans have two eyes, there are some animals that have more.

“Bees have FIVE eyes!” the students called out as they recalled from our “Bee” Unit last month.

After learning about how they help us see, we made a fun craft of an eye.

We went through the folds step-by- step together.

“Look! I’m a cyclops! I’m going to get…

…YOU!”

We had a great time making and playing with the cyclops eye!
