Tic Tac Toe Time!

In Social Studies, we continued our theme of learning about games by exploring Tic Tac Toe. We learned that the game is played on a 3×3 grid with nine squares. Each player chooses a symbol, traditionally an X or an O, and takes turns placing it in an empty square.

The goal is to get three of your symbols in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. If the board fills up without a winner, the game ends in a draw. We practiced the rules together and tried a few quick games to get the hang of it.

After learning how to play, we made our own Tic Tac Toe boards. Everyone had fun designing their grids, getting creative with the layout, and then jumping right into the game.

We enjoyed challenging our friends and seeing who could win first. It was a simple but exciting way to learn strategy, patience, and good sportsmanship.

This activity brought lots of smiles and laughter, and we can’t wait to explore more games together in class!

Great job, PAP!
