This month for science we have been learning about different fabrics that are important for people.

Today we learned about silk. Silk is made from insects called silk worms.

The students were really fascinated that a worm could make silk.

We learned these worms make silk cocoons and that’s where the silk comes from.

We made some silk cocoon finger puppets.Many students made pandas, rabbits, and beetles.

Everyone was very creative!
