🎎 Daruma Art Project Begins 🎎

We began our Daruma art project with lots of excitement and hands on creativity!

First, we mixed glue and water together to create a special paste. Then, we rolled newspaper tightly into a round ball to form the base of our Daruma.

After the base was ready, we carefully painted a layer of the glue and water mixture all over the newspaper ball. This helped prepare the surface for the next step and made sure everything would stick properly.

Next, we wrapped the ball with layers of red tissue paper. Everyone worked hard to cover the entire surface, pressing the tissue paper down and brushing more glue mixture on top to keep it smooth and secure.

Once the red layer was complete, we cut out white circles and glued them onto the Daruma using the same glue and water mixture. These white circles will be where we draw the Daruma’s face during the next lesson.

The students showed great focus and teamwork while working through each step, getting their hands a little messy and having lots of fun along the way!

Next time, we will complete our Daruma by drawing the face and bringing each one to life. We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s finished Daruma very soon!

Great work, everyone!
