We started our monthly theme “Machine” by talking about how machines help us in our daily lives. We are very glad to live in a time with so many wonderful machines!
For this lesson, we looked closely at the telephone. We showed the students some old phones, like a rotary phone and an old automatic wall telephone.
We talked about the different parts of the machines and how people used them a long time ago. It was very interesting to see how much telephones have changed over the years!
The students also had a lot of fun practicing with the old phones. They loved holding the heavy receivers, turning the dial, and pretending to call their friends and family.
Everyone showed great curiosity and had so much fun exploring together. We are excited to learn about more machines this month!
