This week during Subject Study, our students began an exciting two-week Self-Portrait Project! 🖍️😊 They started by creating the clothes for their self-portraits using colourful paper to design their shirts.
The children carefully cut, glued, and arranged the paper pieces to create unique shirt designs while thinking about the colours and styles they wanted to use. ✂️🧩
This hands-on activity helped them develop their fine motor skills, creativity, concentration, and scissor skills while carefully following the outline of their portraits.
The classroom was filled with excitement as everyone worked hard and proudly watched their self-portraits begin to take shape.
🌟 We are looking forward to continuing this fun project next week by adding more facial features, details, and decorations to complete our wonderful masterpieces.
