What an incredible day we had at this year’s Palooza!
Palooza is one of the biggest events of our school year, bringing together children, teachers, and families from all our schools for a day filled with movement, teamwork, and fun.
This year, we gathered together in a huge gymnasium, and from the moment everyone arrived, excitement was in the air. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to welcome our families as they cheered the children on throughout the day.
Waving colourful flags, the children proudly marched around the gym. The children couldn’t stop smiling when they spotted their families in the audience.
Next came our dances! The children performed the dance and cheer they had been practising so hard over the past several weeks. Watching their confidence shine through after all of their rehearsals made us incredibly proud.
One of the day’s biggest highlights was our egg-and-spoon race. With parents joining in, the competition became even more exciting! Some children carefully balanced their eggs while others raced ahead at full speed, determined to reach the finish line first. There were plenty of giggles along the way, making it one of the most memorable events of the day.
The fun continued with an obstacle course that challenged the children to jump over hoops and crawl through tunnels. Seeing everyone try their best with such big smiles was a wonderful reminder that the day was all about participation, confidence, and having fun together.
Most importantly, Palooza gave us the chance to celebrate as a school community. It was a joy to watch children from different classes and campuses come together and create happy memories with their families.
Finally, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful parents and families. Thank you for spending the day with us, joining in the activities, cheering from the sidelines, and making the event so special for the children. Your enthusiasm and encouragement meant the world to them!
