This month at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda K3 students have been learning about plants. We have been learning about how the different parts of their bodies, how they grow and what they eat.

Today in class we reviewed what we already knew about plants and then began studying how plants can change depending on where they grow.

We looked at how plants that grow in different colors of soil or in different locations can change their colors and appearance. We also discussed how a plant moves it nutrients through its body.

To check this we began an experiment. Using different colors of water and white flowers we tested how the flowers would grow into different colors. We also made predictions about how long it would take for the different colors to show on the flower.
