Our K1 and K2 friends had a wonderful time getting creative with pumpkins! 🎃🧡 This fun craft activity was not only exciting but also gave us a chance to practice our fine motor skills while exploring colors, shapes, and textures. ✂️👐✨
We started by looking at our pumpkin shapes and having fun with some good old-fashioned scribbling! 🖍️🎨 Each child scribbled on their pumpkin in their own special way, creating lots of fun lines and patterns.
There was no right or wrong way to do it because we wanted everyone to use their imagination and make their pumpkin unique! 🌈😊
Next came our favorite part — the collage! 🧡💛💚 We used colorful pieces of paper and carefully picked, tore, and stuck them onto our pumpkins.
Peeling, holding, placing, and pressing down the little pieces helped us practice those important fine motor skills while keeping our little hands busy! 👐✨
We filled our pumpkins with lots of bright colors and interesting patterns, watching them slowly transform into beautiful works of art. 🎨🎃
Once our pumpkins were covered, it was time to give them some personality! 👀😄 We added different eyes, silly noses, and funny or spooky mouths to create our very own pumpkin faces.
Some pumpkins looked happy, some looked cheeky, and some looked wonderfully spooky! 👻😂🎃
To finish our masterpieces, we decorated them with lots of colorful and sparkly stickers. ⭐️💎✨ We carefully chose where to place each sticker and added the final little touches to make our pumpkins extra special.
We were so proud of our colorful pumpkin creations! 🎃🧡 Every pumpkin was different, just like every little artist who made it.
Our classroom is now filled with a fun and colorful pumpkin patch ready for some Halloween fun! 🍁👻🕷️✨
