Field trips are an important part of the year here at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda. The students and staff both love to get out about around Tokyo to see some of the amazing things the city has to offer. This month in our science and social studies classes we have been learning all about sea life so the only place everyone wanted to go was to the aquarium!

Today K2 and K3 students headed out early to visit Shinagawa aquarium. The children were paired up and we headed over on the bus. We saw some amazing dolphin and penguin statues as we headed up to the building and then it was like being in another world!

The children had so much fun looking at all the sea life in the museum. They loved look at the jellyfish, eels and rays! Some of the children were a little scared of the shark though.

The Grand Finale was the dolphin show. It was so exciting to see those beautiful animals jumping and leaping out of the water. What an amazing day!
