Tanabata – Star Festival

Star Festival is always a fun celebration for the kids at English Pocket. The students get to dress in their Yukata or Jinbei at school which they usually really enjoy and make a wish on the bamboo.

Today students were able to practice their writing in an unusual way. As a class we wrote out our wishes and then placed them on a bamboo tree in the lobby on the 2nd floor in Gotanda school.

Some of the students wanted to put their wishes very high on the bamboo tree so their teachers needed to help them but everyone tried their best.

In the afternoon we made Tanabata decorations.

Well done today everyone! You all looked very cute and made some super interesting wishes.
