November is a beautiful time of the year in Japan. The weather is bright and sunny but the temperature is nice and cool. All the trees are changing to their fall colors and at English Pocket we have prepared a delicious Thanksgiving lunch!

In North America during the end of the year they celebrate a holiday called Thanksgiving. On this day people discuss what they are thankful for in their lives. It is a time to spend with your family full of delicious food and drinks.

Today at Gotanda school we also celebrated Thanksgiving. In the afternoon we talked about the things we are thankful for in our lives.

We also made turkey crafts and placemats for some delicious Thanksgiving food.

I hope everyone had a great day at school and enjoyed their lunches! Well done to all our students!
