Today, we celebrated all of the birthdays in the month of July. There is almost nothing more enjoyable on a hot summer day than some ice cream to relax. All the kids love ice cream and got a cup to enjoy during lunch time today.

We took some time in the morning to play some fun summer games where we bounced a few balloons in the air as if it were a cooperative volleyball event and tried to get them into a large ice cream cone. They had a blast!

In the afternoon, we talked about making party hats in the form of ice cream cones and talking about the flavors of ice cream that we like and wanted to make with our hats. They colored in some dots, sprinkles, and some liked the idea of having a mystery flavor in the mix.

It took some time, but just like with getting ice cream, they left satisfied and feeling very cool.
