This week at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we began making a very practical and interesting art project. Fans for the summer heat.

We all know that the summer has been extra hot so this week we began creating some beautiful fans to help keep ourselves cool.

First the students used water and paint to create wonderful patterns of colors on our paper. We had to be so careful not to spill our paints on the floor or our clothes.

We then waited for the papers to dry. It took a while so the teachers had to help the students finish off some of their fans after class had finished but the beautiful patterns made the wait worth it.

Today’s students really enjoyed their art project and we hope theirs fans will help them beat the summer heat. Be safe everyone!
