How strong are your teeth?

Today in science, the Elm class did a science experiment.

We were testing how strong our teeth are when drinking different things. We used eggs in our experiment because egg shells are similar to our teeth.

The students put the eggs in milk, water, and soda. We watched what happened.

We made some predictions or guesses about what would happen. We wrote them down too. Everyone had great ideas.

Milk makes your teeth strong. Soda is full of sugar and is bad for your teeth. We guessed the milk would make the egg strong. We guessed soda would break our egg.

Everyone said “yikes” about our experiment results!

Excellent job young scientists!
