At Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda on Thursday afternoons we have recently been learning about Rainforests. The students have been studying the different trees and animals that live in them as well as the different, large, rainforests around the world.
Today we began to learn about the third layer of the rainforest and the animals that live there. Students studied the many animals that live above the ground such as birds, monkeys, and sloths.
After studying, the students added new pictures and information to our giant rainforest mural in our playroom. The younger kids have loved adding their sloth pictures to the trees. The jaguars they made last week were looking up at those sloths hungrily!
We also continued to enjoy hat week and have a great time wearing our cool hats!
