This month, we gathered to celebrate the November birthdays in a special way. The room was filled with excitement as the students anticipated a fun activity that combined creativity and tasty treats.

Before starting, the children were delighted to see the bright color and feel the texture as they prepared for the next step.

Using a small, safe masher, the children took turns squishing the sweet potatoes until they were soft and smooth. Giggles erupted as a few bits jumped onto the table, adding to the fun.

With clean hands and saran wrap, the students molded the mashed potatoes into playful shapes like triangles, circles, and even hearts.

After shaping and a few hours of cooling, it was time to enjoy! Each student proudly tasted their unique creations. The snack was met with smiles and eager bites, bringing joy to everyone.

To end the special day, we practiced our songs for the upcoming Christmas Concert. The children sang enthusiastically, their voices full of excitement for the season ahead.
