Art is one of our students favorite subjects at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda and we like to embrace the love the students have for it by giving them a chance to practice their art at least twice a week!

This week we learned all about an artist who was very famous between 1970 and 1990 named Keith Haring. His simple, colorful graphic art is known all around the world.

The students first discussed what may have made his art so interesting. They talked about how the simple images are easy to understand and the bright colors help people to enjoy them.

After observing and discussing it was time for creating! Students attempted to create an image in the Keith Haring style using paper, markers and glue.

Overall it was an entertaining and educational lesson. The students had a great time and they learned something new.
