Reading Performances

Today at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda students finally completed their reading and speech performances that they have been practicing.

This month students began working on a reading performance. At the beginning of February students were assigned a book that was significantly more difficult than one the read on a day to day basis. Generally the books assigned were 2 or 3 levels higher than what they would usually read.

Through the month students practiced these books daily in class and at home with their parents, brothers and sisters. The daily practice has really paid off as today was their performance.

Students had a clear format to follow. They needed to introduce the tabs their books, read the book and show the pictures then finally thank the audience for listening to their presentation.

All the students who attended school did a fantastic job today. They spoke clearly and showed their books well. They stood up straight and projected their voice and most importantly, they listened to their peers and classmates well.

Today really showed how far the students have come this year in their self discipline, their speech and their reading. Everyone did an excellent job and we couldn’t have been prouder of them as their teachers.
