Today at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda we had art in K3 class for our daily subject study. Through the month of June we will be working on our ability to hold a paint brush, learn how to mix colors to create new ones and clean up nicely after ourselves.

We began by learning about how to clean our paint pallets to make sure our water color paints looked nice. The children were responsible for making sure their paint brush, water and paints were clean and ready to use.

We then put on smocks to make sure that our clothes didn’t get dirty and then began working on our pictures.

Today we painted an outline of a hot air balloon. The children were allowed to use any color they wanted. It was a fantastic activity and all the kids made something they could be proud of.
