The children arrived with bright smiles and even brighter costumes, ready to celebrate Halloween! There were so many creative outfits this year — a parade of princesses filled the room with sparkle and color, while not one but two Charizards proudly showed off their fiery wings. We eve n had five different Spidermen swinging through the morning with excitement! Everyone couldn’t wait to show off their costumes to friends and teachers.

Each student carried their own trick or treat bag, which they had designed earlier with ghosts, bats, and friendly monsters. Holding hands in pairs, they practiced English greetings and polite phrases as they visited nearby shops and businesses.

Every stop brought smiles from shopkeepers and cheers from the children as they received candies and small treats. Their voices filled the street with “Trick or treat!” and “Thank you!” in perfect English, showing how proud they were to use what they’ve learned.

By the end of the walk, the children’s bags were full of sweets, and their hearts were full of joy. It was a Halloween filled with laughter, learning, and lots of delicious candy — a day they’ll remember for a long time!

In the afternoon, we played a bowling game and then carved a pumpkin to make a Jack-o-lantern! We took turns removing the seeds and guts while the older students got a chance to carve it out.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
