We had a very exciting day in Science class! To finish our month of learning about pets, we enjoyed a wonderful surprise.

A special guest came to visit our classroom. She brought her two pet dogs to meet us! They were both small and very cute Chihuahuas.

At first, some of the children felt a little bit nervous. We made sure everyone knew that saying hello was completely optional, and they could just watch if they wanted to.

The children had a great time seeing the two little dogs run playfully around the room. Soon, the students took turns reaching out to gently touch our furry friends.

Some children loved the dogs right away with big smiles! Other students were so brave. They overcame their fears to give our fluffy visitors a nice, soft pat.

Everyone was so gentle and kind to the animals. It was the perfect way to finish our unit on pets.
