Today we ended our Science lessons on deserts by learning about the dangers we can encounter when going to the desert. We wrote letters to our families to let them know about our desert trip.

The students were great to write sentences on their own and come up with interesting things to write.

Some students wrote to their mommy and daddy. Others wrote to their brothers and sisters. Some K2 and K3 students wrote to their grandparents too.

They wrote about the animals they saw, the hot weather, and how they kept safe in the desert.

We made sure to put a stamp on our postcards too so they arrive safely in the mail.

It was so fun to learn about the desert together and now we can share about our desert adventure with our families!
